How do I post a classified ad?
To post an ad, you must be a registered user of AutoAlaska.com. After registering and signing in, go to the classifieds section and choose “Place An Ad”. Your personal information that you submitted to become a member of AutoAlaska.com will automatically be added. If this is not the contact information you would like to use, be sure to change it. You will be prompted for the type, make and model of vehicle you would like to sell as well as whether or not you would like to include an image with your ad.

How do I add an image to my ad?
On the page where you enter information about your ad, click “I want to add an image.” You can then either add the URL of an image if you already have one posted on the web or you can load an image onto our site from your desktop. To load an image yourself, click “Browse” next to the input box and then find the image on your computer. When the images location appears in the input box, press “Send File”. You will then see the same page again, but this time the name of the image will appear under “Upload Images”. You are then free to upload another image. When you are done uploading images, click “I’m Done” and your ad will be automatically placed. You will then receive an email containing the details of your ad.

How many images can I upload?
Each individual image cannot exceed 50 kb in size. In addition, a member can only upload 200 kb per ad, meaning that you can add approximately four to five pictures depending on their size.

What if I want to change my ad?
After logging into AutoAlaska.com member’s section, click on “my Ads”. You will see a list of the ads that you have placed. Simply click “Edit this Ad” on the ad you would like to edit.
